Canton Pickle Fest wouldn’t be possible without the help of amazing volunteers. Whether you’re looking to give back to the community, meet new people, or be part of a fun, pickle-loving event, we’d love to have you join us.

We’re building a friendly, supportive volunteer team to help make this year’s festival a great experience for everyone — attendees, vendors, and volunteers alike.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Event Setup and Cleanup-

  • Come a bit early or stay after the festival to help us leave the streets better than we found them.

• Guest Services and Information-

  • Welcome and assist guests by providing information, distributing maps and schedules, verifying prize winners (while supplies last), and may be handling transactions for official merchandise.

• Work with families in the Kid’s Art Tent.

  • Help with arts and crafts and verify winners for prizes for the scavenger hunt.

• Facilitate the Pickle Judges Booth, ensuring a smooth and efficient voting process.

  • Knowledge of food safety is preferred, as you'll be handling pickle samples.

  • Comfort with technology is essential, as you'll assist attendees in entering their votes and accessing real-time results.

• Vendor and Attendee Relations

  • Acting as friendly liaisons between vendors and attendees, offering assistance and support as required. Facilitating surveys with both attendees and vendors to gather valuable feedback and insights.

Important Information:

• Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a guardian if under 18.
  

• All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and refreshments during their shifts.
  

• Volunteer shifts are typically 4-6 hours, but if you’re interested in an 8 hour shift, please mention that in your message below.
